On April 20, the Phase II Line 3 of Inner Mongolia Tianhao Fiberglass Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianhao Fiberglass") annual 600,000-ton high-performance glass fiber production base project was successfully ignited and put into operation. The company's production capacity and intelligent manufacturing capabilities have reached a new level, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia's advanced materials industry.

It is understood that the project settled in Horinger County, Hohhot City in 2022, with a total investment of RMB 6 billion. It is planned to build five intelligent production lines across three phases. Among them, Phase I Line 1 has an annual capacity of 120,000 tons; Phase II Line 2 and Line 3 each have an annual capacity of 150,000 tons; Phase III Line 4 and Line 5 each have an annual capacity of 90,000 tons, mainly producing high-end products such as high-modulus electronic yarn. Upon full completion, the project will form an intelligent production base with an annual output of 600,000 tons of high-performance glass fiber.

With the commissioning of Phase II Line 3, the base's annual production capacity has now reached 420,000 tons. The base adopts internationally advanced oxygen-regulated electric boosting furnace technology, supported by a fully intelligent warehouse management and control system, automated material distribution and sorting systems, and digital management to achieve efficient interaction and batch production of high-strength, high-modulus, and other high-end glass fiber products in various specifications. It can stably provide high-performance glass fiber material support for key sectors such as construction infrastructure, aerospace, new energy, and high-end manufacturing.

In recent years, Horinger County has leveraged its resource endowment and industrial foundation to build a modern industrial system featuring dairy, green food, new materials, a low-carbon circular economy, and integrated culture-agriculture-tourism development. By capitalizing on the development dividends brought by Horinger New Area and the Shengle International Airport, the county has achieved simultaneous improvement in industrial development and people's livelihoods, fully supporting the agglomeration and open development of leading industries such as dairy, new materials, new energy, and the digital economy within the Hohhot Area of the Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone. The rapid construction and commissioning of the Tianhao Fiberglass project have made it a landmark project for local industrial structure optimization and upgrading.

The Tianhao Fiberglass project adheres to the concept of a circular economy and green manufacturing, innovatively utilizing industrial solid waste coal gangue to produce high-value-added glass fiber-based materials, thereby building a closed-loop ecosystem from raw materials to end products. This demonstrates corporate responsibility and resource efficiency, helping downstream industries achieve energy savings, emission reductions, and green transformation through full-lifecycle carbon reduction practices.

At present, Tianhao Fiberglass products are distributed via railway dedicated lines, multimodal transport, and other integrated logistics systems to markets including those in Greater China, Europe, and the Americas, offering customized, low-carbon, and high-reliability advanced material solutions to global customers. The products are widely used in wind turbine blades, photovoltaic modules, new energy vehicles, construction materials, sports equipment, and other fields, meeting local and regional market demand while continuously enhancing international market influence.

Going forward, Tianhao Fiberglass will seize the major opportunities presented by the construction of the Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone, continuing to focus on technological innovation as its core, green and low-carbon practices as its direction, and global service as its support. The company will strengthen digital transformation and low-carbon technology applications, accelerate the full-industry-chain layout from raw materials to end products, and contribute to the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia.
